This week’s adventure kept our kilometres low since it happened to take place only half an hour away from our main offices! We had the chance to go to the Concours d’Elegance Suisse at the magnificent Château de Coppet and take part in the celebration of the Lamborghini Miura’s 50th anniversary!

As you can see, there were a few Miura’s present for this big occasion and this was just the tip of the iceberg!

The day saw cars such as the Ferrari Dino, Ferrari 250 SWB & Lusso, Aston Martin DB4GT & DB2/4, a whole fleet of pre-war Bugatti’s and modern marvels such as a Pagani Zonda and a Pagani Huayra!

The sheer selection of cars present at this Concours d’Elegance was enough to help us forget that it was pouring over our heads almost all day long and everyone was able to go back to being a child and witnessing the cars that once adorned their walls in real life.

This 1st edition of the Concours d’Elegance Suisse comes a whole 62 years after the 1954 Concours d’Elegance of Geneva and a big part of the cars present this year come from that uncovered period and the people present at the event sure were glad to give a new breathe to this tradition. There’s just something magical about seeing these cars up close and getting to talk to their owners and hear the stories behind these works of art!

Wether we love Ferraris, Aston Martins, Alfa Romeos or Rolls-Royces, there is always one common passion behind it all and these collectors proved that with what we thought was a great 1st edition and we hope that this becomes a yearly event to celebrate the automotive culture and these great wonders for years to come!
